Matthew 13:1-23

Jesus' first parable in Matthew's Gospel uses imagery which would be easy to understand in the first century, and yet leaves people confused about what he is trying to say. Do we know what Jesus is talking about, when he mentions the seeds, the sower and the condition of the ground? Jesus is talking about the words/message he has been sharing, and whether they have found a place to grow in within out hearts. How is the soil in out hearts, is it wanting to hear?

I will leave you with this, what is the difference between being a Christian and being a good person? ... Discipleship!
